This is what according to an Italian radio station she does NOT want for Valentine’s Day (even if you might think it is romantic) :

1. PERFUME: Women don’t want somebody else to choose the perfume. If the scent reminds them of their granny they will never wear it.

2. HANDBAGS OR SHOES: You just won’t be able to pick the right one. You have no idea about the little details that make a handbag great or trashy. The same is true for shoes. Just don’t try !

3. CLOTHES: The risk of not choosing the right size is definitely too high: “Do you think I am that fat?” if you opt for a large version. But even worse if you choose it too small and she can’t fit in it. That will ruin the day.

4. RING: Unless it is a huge diamond forget about it.

5. SEXY UNDERWEAR: Don’t. She has to try it on and feel sexy. Otherwise you risk the same as above with clothes.

So, poor guys, you have to be really creative to find a gift !

Maybe you can try with some special – maybe Italian  – food. But only if YOU cook it.
