The history of the Nardini Grappa and Aquavite goes back to 1779 when Bortolo Nardini in Bassano del Grappa – just round 50 kilometers (30 miles) from Venice – made his first grappa. After more than two centuries the company is still in the hands of the family. In the seventh generation Angelo, Antonio, Cristina and Leonardo Nardini still make wonderful grappa.
