Italian Nardini Grappa and the British Queen
Did you know Nardini is the oldest Grappa distillery of Italy?
And did you know Queen mother chose Nardini for the coronation ceremony of her daughter Queen Elizabeth in 1953 ?
The history of the Nardini Grappa and Aquavite goes back to 1779 when Bortolo Nardini in Bassano del Grappa – just round 50 kilometers (30 miles) from Venice – made his first grappa. Word of mouth spread around and more and more people were asking for their premium products. As we know word has spread even to Queen mother in the Buckingham Palce in London.
After more than two centuries the company is still in the hands of the family. In the seventh generation Angelo, Antonio, Cristina and Leonardo Nardini still make wonderful grappa.
Of course you can get the best Nardini grappa on www.byitaly.com. For your own personal coronation.
