Tiramisù: the original recipe

Category:
Tiramisù italiano

The Tiramisu has Italian origins. Food and wine experts trace its birth in the late ’60s and identifies the Tiramisu one of the desserts of the Hapsburg tradition, defining it as a variant of trifle.
The original recipe does not include the use of any liquor, as the cake is intended for both adults and children. The original shape of the cake is round, but to optimize the use of the sponge you can choose a square or rectangular baking dish.
You can change the recipe by substituting some ingredients. The most delicious variations on the theme is the Tiramisù with chocolate, berry, lemon, strawberry, pineapple, yogurt, banana and raspberry.
