Do you know the Infiorata di Spello ?

The streets of the tiny Umbrian town Spello are paved with images made of flowers petals. On the occasion of the Corpus Domini feast almost 1000 flower artists work all night to decorate the streets of the historical center of Spello .

This wonderful Italian tradition takes place every year, the ninth Sunday after Easter.

The magic full of scents lasts only the night, because the next morning the bishop walks down the streets with the procession on Sunday morning.

So if you want to witness the Infiorata flower art festival you have to come at night or very early in the morning.
