Last Monday at the weekly market: The stand just opposite from where I usually buy my vegetables and fruit has an interesting origin.

Three prisons in Milan offer their food on the weekly market.

Well, I am sure they don’t grow lemons  and oranges up here in the cold north of Italy. But I have heard about their gardening programs in the prisons.

So maybe next time I’ll try out prion food.
