La Vucciria: A picture returns to life

The famous picture of Renato Guttuso “La Vucciria” – a Palermo market scene – is not only going to be exposed at the EXPO in Milan this year, which is all about food.
It is also coming to live.
Thanks to the composer Marco Betta and the famous mystery writer Andrea Camilleri (author of Montalbano) the people of the picture start moving and dancing and singing. “Il Quadro Buio” – the dark picture – is the name of the piece.
