Mc Donald’s is having a hard time all over the world. I guess that’s why they try to go local.

Especially in Italy it is hard to compete with the local food. That’s why they have adopted a “go local” strategy. A part from Cappucino and Cornetto now even their burgers try to imitate good Italian food.

Their new burgers are called McItaly Chianina and Mc Italy Marchigiana. Chianina is one of the best and most sought after Italian beef. Chianina cows grow only in the area of the Lake Trasimeno in the center of Italy.

Actually Mc Donald’s is copying what other, real Italians have been offering for a while: The real Chianina Burger; sesame bread, home made mayonaise, fresh tomatoe, crem cheese and meat that comes 100% from Ccianina cows.
