Product Description

    Tasting notes:
Elena Walch Pinot Nero Elena Walch shines in clear, fresh ruby red. A fruity play of aromas of red berries, cherries and raspberries as well as spicy notes with some white pepper characterizes the bouquet. In the mouth, the wine convinces with juicy structure and inviting freshness, with soft, velvety tannins, discreet spices in the background and a youthful, elegant finish.

Traditional temperature controlled fermentation for about 10 days in stainless steel tanks. Afterwards, malolactic fermentation and storage partially in large wooden barrels (22hl) of French oak and/or stainless steel tanks.

    Wine cellar:
Elena Walch wine cellar was built on natural Dolomite stones nearly 150 years ago in Tramin, and has been remodeled to become what it is today: one of Alto Adige’s longest-standing private cellars. The most modern wines are all handcrafted here, with respect for the environment and in harmony with nature and in the spirit of ongoing sustainability, using grapes from the best vineyards. The size of the production facilities and the vineyards owned by the family render the estate one of the most productive wine establishments in the region.
