1 big onion
1 bottle trapani original tomato sauce (33 cl)
Extra virgin olive oil
1- Put under cold water for about 12 hours the beans,drain and keep aside
2- Chop fine the onion and take a 3 liter casserole,put 4 table spoon of extra virgin olive oil and roast the onion for about 5 minuts(untill it results good crispy)and poar the drained beans and roast for about 5 minuts add salt and pepper
3- Take off from fire and let cool down 30 seconds add the tomato sauce,salt and pepper again,extravirgin olive oil(4 table spoon) and keep cooking on low fire about 30 to 40 minuts,enjoy
4- You can add bacon to the onions at the begin if you like moore the meaty version.
After the beans are been under water minimum 12 hours and you boil them an other 30 40 minuts in salty water you can (after cool them down)use the beans for crispy salads:just add fine cutted onions,salt and pepper and good quality extra virgin olive oil:a poor dish for inside rich people.
